At rmDATA, we bundle all research, innovation and development activities at our Pinkafeld (Austria) site. This is where forward-looking solutions are created that continuously advance our products and services.
We are currently working on several projects funded by the European Union:
Project TE2INHO - telecom infrastructure to inhouse
Due to increased demands on the resilience and reliable availability of telecommunications networks, our customers are faced with the challenge of seamless network documentation. The aim of this research project is to fully map a company's entire telecommunications infrastructure. This should be documented from the external connection to the connection in the building - centrally, consistently and available at all times, e.g. to enable faster troubleshooting.
As a project result, we expect a proof of concept and prototypes for the planning, installation, documentation and operation of in-house telecommunications infrastructure. This must ensure consistency with the processes and documentation relating to the telecommunications infrastructure outside buildings. In addition, we want to develop concepts and models for object modeling and data integration that can be transferred to our telecommunications platform at the end of the project.

DigitalTwin4CrInfra project funded by ERDF
With the DigitalTwin4CrInfra project, rmDATA is developing a user-friendly SaaS platform that maps municipal water supply networks as a digital twin and supports the entire life cycle of systems. Master data, status information and real-time sensor data are centrally combined, visualized and recorded on mobile devices. The solution automates maintenance, alarms and documentation and provides a basis for decision-making to prioritize maintenance measures. Operators receive transparent status overviews, better planning and an extended system service life. DigitalTwin4CrInfra is aimed particularly at small and medium-sized cities, municipalities and municipal associations and is scalable for different technical and regulatory frameworks. The aim is to create a marketable product that enables safe, efficient and sustainable water supply in the municipal sector.

APLAK project funded by ERDF
Systems that enable the management and convenient editing of cadastral databases and combine them with the necessary functions for plan creation are currently not available on the market. rmDATA has set itself the goal of filling this gap and developing a system with APLAK, the general platform for the automation-supported management of cadastres, which can initially be used in the DACH region and later beyond - and thus in different markets with different system requirements.
